In one slick package :)
I love Pushpin! I love the addition of iOS 8 features like the share extension. It is the best Pinboard client for iOS period. Really responsive developer too.
I ask you, dear peasants, why do I have to see a "lock" icon beside every bookmark when my entire Pinboard account is set to private? I want you to find the lock icon and I want you to fix it so that I may observe my app landscape and be happy again.
i used to use pinner. somewhere along the way, pinner became completely unusable on my iPad 3. i have a LOT of tags, and pinners UI would literally freeze and become unresponsive when trying to view my list of tags. Pushpin handles this without a single hiccup on my aging iPad. well done, and thank you.
Pushpin has just sailed past my long-time favourite Read-it-later service — Instapaper.
Looks nice, but its extremely buggy when attempting to add links with the share sheet.
The share sheet to add bookmarks from within Safari doesnt work correctly on the latest iOS. This is a critical bug that Im surprised hasnt been fixed yet. Otherwise, if you use Pinboard, this app gives you all the features you might hope for, and then some!
The best Pinboard client on the AppStore, for sure!
Love the app but it constantly crashes after pinning. Hopefully the developer is looking at the crash reports. Will update to 5 stars when fixed.
While Pushpin is likely the very best Pinboard client out there, and the app is indeed very good, I think it is vastly overrated (especially given its hefty price tag). Granted, Pinboard is a niche product and I want the developers of Pushpin to make money so they can continue to improve the product, but it is missing some fundamental features (or perhaps they are hidden). They are: 1. Background refresh. And automatic refresh upon launch doesnt work consistently. 2. No sorting option. 3. No time stamp. 4. Cannot search with date range. 5. Tags isnt quickly accessible, requiring two clicks to get to the tag you want. Individual tags should be listed on the side bar. 6. No iCloud sync for settings.
Love the well laid out user interface, integration with Instapaper, 1Password, and available URL scheme. Price might be high in comparison but its well worth the expense of 3 lattes
When the app works, it looks nice but isnt worth $10. But mostly the app doesnt work on my retina iPad mini. Save your $$ and get Pinner or Pinswift.
Pushpin is the Alien Blue of Pinboard apps—it finally made Pinboard click with me and I enjoy using it now. Get it.
When adding or editing a links description/tags, about 1 in 5 times, the entire application will slow to a near halt. Test entry is stuttered, animations take forever... Its as if I triggered Exposè while holding the shift key. Its awful and led me to find a different pinboard app.
And Ive tried several.
With its integration with omnifocus, easy-to-access share sheet- pinswift is by far my favorite pinboard client. Thanks for the hard work.
I can not understand why this app has so good review. I have never seen a app crashed so frequently.
About every other load it crashes on sync. I do have a large bookmark list of about 1200 but still crashing every other load is frustrating.
I never actually use it. Always spend too much time hanging, crashing, and relaunching.
An elegant and powerful interface makes this the best iOS Pinboard client.
